Working Interprofessionally: A required skill for health professionals Workshop
October 9, 2013 – Courtyard Marriott Downtown, Toronto

At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

1. Describe the principles, theoretical perspectives and benefits of Interprofessional Care for clients, professionals and the health care system
2. Identify various models of Interprofessional Care in health care settings.
3. State multiple strategies for enhancing Interprofessional Care.
4. Develop an action plan to enhance Interprofessional Care in your own work environment.

Designing and Delivering Effective Education Programs

Designing and Delivering Effective Education Programs provides an opportunity to benefit from the expertise of participants as well as program facilitators with the ultimate goal of becoming better educators and lifelong learners.

The content is geared towards health-care professionals from all sectors of the health-care system who develop and deliver education programs.

Fees include workshop materials, breakfast everyday, and lunches Monday. Wednesday and Friday.

Chronic Disease Management Institute
November 10 – 14, 2014 – Hilton Hotel and Suites, Niagara Falls

As a nurse, you have a vital role to play in supporting people with chronic conditions, such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes and asthma, among others. Register today for this unique five-day learning institute focused on one of the fastest emerging concerns in health care today: Chronic Disease.

This institute will provide nurses and other health-care professionals with the theory, techniques and tools they need to help patients take the lead in their own care.
