Health-care organizations interested in participating in a leading-edge pilot project have another opportunity. The Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario (RNAO) is pleased to announce the re-issue of its request for proposal (RFP) to implement and evaluate nursing order sets in eligible organizations.

The goal of this two-phase project is to demonstrate the benefits of harnessing technology to implement RNAO nursing order sets derived from the Best Practice Guidelines (BPGs) and to understand their impact through technology-enabled outcome evaluation. You would be participating as an eHealth Pilot Proof of Concept Site.

The original request for proposal was limited to organizations serving clients located in under-serviced areas of the province as indicated by a Rurality Index of Ontario score of 45 or greater.

This revised Request for Proposal is targeting organizations serving clients in rural areas of the province as reflected by a Rurality Index of Ontario score of 31 or greater.

This eligibility has been revised with the extension.

Additional information is available in the request for proposal document.

Interested organizations are asked to review the proposal and complete the proposal template, and the budget template and submit them by email to Tanya Costa before 3:00pm EST on Tuesday January 28, 2014.
