The University of Toronto announces the search for the next Dean of the Lawrence S. Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing and invites applications, nominations and expressions of interest.

The University of Toronto is the largest and most prestigious university in Canada, located in one of the world’s great cities. Recently ranked in the top 20 in the world and 1st in Canada, the University of Toronto has 20,000 faculty and staff, some 80,000 students across three campuses, and an annual budget of almost $2 billion. With one of the top three research libraries in North America, the University and its partner hospitals were awarded over $1 billion in external research funding last year.

The Lawrence S. Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing is committed to the mission of international leadership in nursing research and education. An integral part of one of North America’s largest academic health science complexes, the Faculty has an impressive record of collaboration with other health sciences faculties and affiliated hospitals, national and provincial health care agencies, and professional organizations. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however, Canadians and permanent residents will be given priority.

The Search Committee will begin its consideration of individuals immediately and will continue until the position is filled. All inquiries, nominations, and applications regarding this position will be treated in strict confidence and should be submitted to:
