The National Steering Committee and the Ontario Network of Educators and Supporters of Internationally Educated Nurses (ONES-IENs), Incorporated invite you to submit an abstract for presentation at the Partners in Education and Integration of Internationally Educated Nurses 8th National Conference on May 1 and 2, 2014 at the Holiday Inn – Yorkdale in Toronto, Ontario.

It has been recognized that IENs are faced with unique challenges in gaining nursing registration, and in entering and integrating into the workforce, whether in Canada or elsewhere. This conference provides a forum that brings together individuals from multiple sectors to discuss the many issues IENs encounter entering and integrating into the Canadian nursing workforce. Furthermore, it also serves as an avenue to share experiences, best practices, and research findings with respect to IEN bridging education and integration.

The 2014 conference theme is “Strengthening Partnerships & Collaboration for IEN Success.” We invite you to submit an abstract for oral or poster presentation, or round table discussion on completed or in progress research, projects or best practices in the following themes:

  • Policy
  • IEN education
