The Pediatric Nurses Interest Group (PedNIG), will be holding its Biennial Conference May 4 and 5, 2012 (the weekend before the start of Nursing week). This conference will be national, entitled: Canadian Nurses Partnering for Children’s Health. The conference objectives are to:

1. Explore the trends and issues in outpost and rural Pediatric Nursing, and innovative measures to address these trends and issues.
2. Improve access and education surrounding Pediatric centered care.
3. Provide a forum for clinicians, practitioners and researchers to learn about current and seminal Nursing Research impacting Pediatrics.
4. Investigate unique approaches to providing pediatric nursing care in various geographical areas and practice settings.
